Nick Collier
In 2003 Nick was the warranty punch guy on a custom home site. The superintendent quit mid project, so he started calling trades himself, because the house still had to get finished. The owner of the company showed up, saw what he was doing, and asked if he wanted to be a superintendent. They doubled his pay and gave him a truck. Someone was supposed to train him.
Nobody did. He learned in real time and asked a lot of questions.
After the crash he was the second to last employee released, and he volunteered to go. Then back to school for construction business management and energy efficient home building. He joined a small building team as a superintendent, learning to estimate and run a project start to finish. He was superintendent on a home that won two awards in 2015 and was published in Luxe Interiors + Design, Phoenix Home & Garden, and several other publications.
He worked up to Director of Construction, overseeing every custom home and remodeling project with a team of about eight. When that company moved into other kinds of construction, he went back to the firm that first put him in custom homes to run their custom division. After stepping in for a departing superintendent, he found himself a superintendent again, having worked years to move past it. So with his wife's blessing, he went out on his own.

Christina Collier
Christina spent almost ten years in medicine. Four of those as a medical assistant before she got her nursing license, then as a nurse across dermatology, family medicine, urgent care, plastic surgery, long term care, and drug and alcohol treatment.
Ask her what a nurse actually does and the answer is not what most people expect. You coordinate between specialists who are not talking to each other. You keep track of what was decided, by whom, and whether it actually happened. And you speak for the person in the bed who cannot speak for themselves.
Running operations for a custom home builder turned out to be the same job in a different building. The client cannot read a plan set. The trades each see one piece. Somebody has to hold the whole picture and advocate for the person who is paying for it.
Christina runs HR, insurance, billing, and financial administration, plus regular field walks to check progress, quality, and coordination. She works directly with subcontractors to confirm the standard is being met. Her role is the bridge between office and field.
