Phase 07 of 07

After you move in

Our processPhase 07: After you move in

A house is not finished the day you move in. It gets lived in, and you find out how it really works. This phase does not add time before you move in, but it is part of the job, and we treat it that way.

The same two people

Warranty items go to the same two people who built the house. There is no warranty department and no service line staffed by someone who has never seen your home. You call Nick or Christina Collier, the owners who were on your job from the first conversation, and they already know the house, the selections, and the people who built it.

That matters more than it sounds. When something needs attention, the fastest path to fixing it right is someone who remembers how it was built and why. A clear warranty and service relationship with the people who built it is one of the things we think every client should expect from a builder.

The same trades

The trades who did the work are the ones who come back. Because we work with the same plumbers, electricians, tile setters, and millwork shops year after year, the person who returns to your house is very often the person who installed what they are looking at. They know the standard because they have been building to it with us for years.

Why we stay close

We build a handful of homes a year on purpose, so both owners can stay close to every one. That does not stop at the punch list. Our past clients are available as references personally, on request. Many high-end clients do not want their names online, and we respect that.

We do not disappear after the contract is signed, and we do not disappear after the keys are handed over either. If you are planning a home in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Arcadia or the Biltmore area, start a conversation.

Questions

Who handles warranty items after I move in?

The same two people who built the house, owners Nick and Christina Collier. There is no separate warranty department.

Who comes back to fix things?

The trades who did the work. We work with the same trades year after year, so the person who returns is very often the one who did the original installation.

Can I speak with past 12 West clients?

Yes. Our past clients are available as references personally, on request.

Next step

Let's talk about your home.

We keep our project volume low on purpose, so both owners stay close to every home we build.
